Dr. Qiang Chen received the B.E. degree from Xidian University, Xi'an, China, in 1986, the M.E. and D.E. degrees from Tohoku University, Sendai, Japan, in 1991 and 1994, respectively. He is currently Chair Professor of Electromagnetic Engineering Laboratory with the Department of Communications Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Tohoku University. His primary research interests include antennas, microwave and millimeter wave, electromagnetic measurement and computational electromagnetics.
He received the Best Paper Award and Zen-ichi Kiyasu Award from the Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers (IEICE). He served as the Chair of IEICE Technical Committee on Photonics-applied Electromagnetic Measurement from 2012 to 2014, the Chair of IEICE Technical Committee on Wireless Power Transfer from 2016 to 2018, the Chair of IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society Tokyo Chapter from 2017 to 2018, the Chair of IEICE Technical Committee on Antennas and Propagation from 2019 to 2021. IEICE Fellow. |

Keisuke Konno received the B.E., M.E., and D.E. degrees from Tohoku University, Sendai, Japan, in 2007, 2009, and 2012, respectively. Since 2012, he has been with the Department of Communications Engineering, Graduate School of Engineering, Tohoku University, where he is an Associate Professor. He received a JSPS Postdoctral Fellowships for Research Abroad and he was staying with the ElectroScience Laboratory, the Ohio State University, as a visiting scholar from 2015 to 2017. His research interests include computational electromagnetics, array antennas, reflectarrays, and source reconstruction. Dr. Konno is a member of IEEE and IEICE. He received the Encouragement Award for Young Researcher and Most Frequent Presentations Award in 2010 from the Technical Committee on Antennas and Propagation of Japan, Young Researchers Award in 2011 from the Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers (IEICE) of Japan, IEEE EMC Society Sendai Chapter Student Brush-up Session & EMC Sendai Seminar Student Best Presentation Award in 2011, JSPS Washington Director Award in 2016, MHz Rectenna Award in 2017, Young Researchers Award for ECEI of Tohoku University in 2018, Minoru Ishida Award in 2018, IEEE AP-S Japan Young Engineer Award in 2018, TOKIN Foundation Research Encouragement Award in 2019. |

Qiaowei Yuan received the BE, ME, and PhD from Xidian University, Xidian University, Xi’an, China, in 1986, 1989, and 1997, respectively. From 1990 to 1991, she was a special research student at Tohoku University, Sendai, Japan. From 1992 to 1995, she worked in Sendai Research and Development Laboratory, Matsushita Communication Company, Ltd., engaging in research and design of compact antennas for second generation mobile phones. From 1997 to 2002, she was a researcher in Sendai Research and Development Center, Oi Electric Company, Ltd., involved in researching and designing of small antennas for pager communications and the parabolic antenna for 26.5 GHz fixed wireless access (FWA) communication. From 2002 to 2007, she was a researcher with Intelligent Cosmos Research Institute, Sendai, Japan, involved in the research and development of adaptive array antennas and RF circuits for mobile communications. From 2007 to 2008, she was the associate professor of Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology. She was he associate professor/professor of National Institute of Technology, Sendai College during April 2009 to March 2020. She also was a visiting scholar at ElectroScience Laboratory of Ohio State University in USA from April 2015 to September 2015. From April 2021 to now, she has been the professor of Tohoku Institute of Technology, and from September 2021 to now, she also simultaneously has been the specially appointed professor in Tohoku university. Dr. Yuan received the Best Paper Award and Zenichi Kiyasu Award in 2009, from the Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers (IEICE) of Japan. She also received the Achievement Award from IEICE in 2015, and other Achievement Awards from IEICE Technical Committee on Wireless Power Transfer from 2016 to 2017. Dr. Yuan severed as the secretary of IEICE Technical Committee on Wireless Power transfer of Japan from 2012 to 2014. She also served as the vice chair of IEEE Sendai WIE during 2017-2018 and now serves as chair of IEEE Sendai WIE from 2019. Now, she is serving as IEEE R10 WIE committee member, IEEE MTT-25 committee member, IEEE MTT WIM Task force member, IEEE Sendai Section Executive member. |

| Jasmin Grosinger is an Associate Professor at the Graz University of Technology in Austria and a Visiting Associate Professor at the Tohoku University in Sendai, Japan. She earned her MSc from the Vienna University of Technology and worked as a Project Assistant with the Institute of Telecommunications. She later became a Laboratory Associate with Disney Research in Pittsburgh, USA. In 2012, she received her PhD from the Vienna University of Technology. Since 2013, she has researched (ultra-)low-power microwave components and systems at Graz University of Technology’s Institute of Microwave and Photonic Engineering. Jasmin has also been a Guest Professor at Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuremberg’s Institute of Electronics Engineering. She is an IEEE Senior Member, and her research has resulted in more than 60 peer-reviewed publications and one US patent. Jasmin is actively involved in the Technical Program and Steering Committees of various microwave-related conferences and is an Associate Editor of the IEEE Microwave and Wireless Technology Letters. She is also a member of the IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society (MTT-S) and was selected as a Distinguished Microwave Lecturer. In 2022, Jasmin served as the MTT-S AdCom Secretary. Since 2023, she has served as an Elected Voting Member of the IEEE MTT-S Administrative Committee, Vice Chair of the Publication and Meetings and Symposia Committees. | ||
